Directions
The Cagle Recreation Area is located in New Waverly, approximately 15 miles North of Conroe. To reach the Cagle Recreation Area, travel North on I-45 to Exit 102 – New Waverly. Turn left on FM 1375 West and continue approximately five miles to Cagle. Turn left at the Public Boat Ramp/Forest Service Road 205 into Cagle and look for the Trash Bash sign.

Parking
Parking spaces will be available in the boat ramp parking lot at Cagle Recreation Area.

Registration/Registration Area
Come to the Cagle campground. A registration table has been set up. Every participant will be required to sign a registration form that includes a liability release section.  Minors must have a form signed by parent or guardian. For this Trash Bash site, a US Department of Agriculture Forest Service Volunteer Form will also need to be filled out.

Camping
The Sam Houston National Forest has three developed campgrounds and various primitive sites. Please see detailed information about the campground:

Area to be Cleaned
The shores and adjacent land on Lake Conroe. This site is a land and water-based cleanup. The work takes place at various areas on/or adjacent to Lake Conroe in and around the Sam Houston National Forest.
