***IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM THE SITE COORDINATOR 3/17/08***
The I10 construction has just cut off all access to our parking lot off I10. Precinct 3 confirmed this lot will not be available for our event. Please direct all traffic to the parking lot at 15200 Memorial Drive, Houston TX 77079. We will direct the volunteers from there to nearby on-street parking and to remote lots at Highway 6 and Dairy Ashford. We will dedicate one of the vans to remote parking shuttle runs.
Directions from Downtown to Terry Hershey Park Memorial Drive Parking Lot
1. From Downtown Houston, take I-10/Katy Freeway west about 15.5 miles;
2 exit at Eldridge Drive;
3. turn left under freeway and proceed south on Eldridge 0.4 miles;
4. turn right on Memorial Drive and proceed west 0.4 miles;
5. cross bridge and turn right into parking lot at 15200 Memorial Drive;
6. the main pavilion is visible from parking lot.

Registration Area:
Registration is at the gazebo at 15200 Memorial Drive.
Area Being Cleaned:
The area to be cleaned are the wooded areas along Buffalo Bayou in Terry Hershey Park from Highway 6 to Wilcrest. We will also clean parts of Langham Creek.
Parking:
Parking is off of Highway 6, off Memorial and Eldridge, and on Memorial.
Schedule:
8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. registration
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. pick up litter, remove invasive species
11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. lunch
Rain Date:
If it rains, we will delay starting until it stops raining on the same day.
